“It is to follow every statement with a question that we further explore the depth of our thinking and allow our ideas to grow and develop more deeply.”
- Matt Copeland
Class Goals:
* Gain clarity and insight on the class theme “How should we live?”
* Improve students’ reading, writing, thinking, and communicating skills.
* Analyze and discuss literary themes, vocabulary, and concepts that are helpful and applicable to everyday life.
* Challenge students to think for themselves – filtering good and bad information in order to make inferences and come to conclusions on their own.
* Challenge students’ mental faculties by forcing them to analyze their parts of thinking, in order to help them think critically and look at life and literature in a more in-depth way.
